The story of Carl Graham Fisher, an Indiana entrepreneur who created Miami Beach out of the Florida swamps.

They talk of searching for the fountain of youth, about the Jewish community that has thrived in this unlikely setting, and the inevitability of growing old and losing friends. Captures the subjects' thoughts and memories, as well as the contrast between the older and younger populations of modern Miami Beach.
